Always have been.

I've got letters my grandfather wrote to Ike 80 years ago trying to get the government to give him disability for the tuberculosis that almost killed him in POW camp after 13 months.

They literally say things like "we do not feel that your illness is a result of your service and therefore decline your request"

I'm a military wife and an RN. have worked in military hospitals.

THIS IS A VERY BIG ISSUE! IT'S MONEY LAUNDERING! VETS ARE NOT GETTING THESE BENEFITS!
