Not totally Q related, but it is a part of cures. Mrs anon is 6 weeks pregnant, and coming down with something. We have both just used ivermectin, is this safe first trimester? Little worried.

I would say no to be on the safe side -.
I had covid twice during this pregnancy and before the pregnancy I used Ivermectin but while pregnant I didn't. When pregnant with covid I slept a lot and kept my fluids up. Taking zinc and a decent regular vitamin as well as drinking a bunch of red raspberry leaf tea (it's good for the uterus and for pregnancy a whole). I didn't take ivermectin while pregnant because I didn't want to take something that might hurt the baby. Hope your wife gets to feeling better.
Pregnant mares take it on a regular basis with no known issues to mamas or babies.
I did ivermectin in the third trimester no issues but the baby is more sensitive early.

I was at the clinic last week and the doctor told me,that all the covid they see,is only a sore throat, no other symptoms.
Not a doctor but the Lancet and NIH articles I found indicate it's not sufficiently known what pregnancy risks exist so it is not indicated for use by pregnant women.
Which squares with what I know of the mechanism by which it works against viruses; it blocks importation across the nucleus wall by affecting importin alpha and beta proteins.
It would seem that there are many things that might need to cross between nuclei in a pregnant woman and her developing baby so I would say don't chance it.
Use the quercetin zinc Zelenko protocol instead, seems perhaps safer
Thanks. No azithromycin available, might have to old school chicken noodle soup it.
Thanks everyone. Can’t speak to doctors about such things around these parts.
I would not take an antibiotic like azithromycin or high dose zinc or quercitin during first trimester. Most major organ systems are being formed now.
I wouldn't take ivermectin either really. Ride it out. Rest, sit outside in the sun, vit c (orange juice, grapefruit). I don’t want to add anything to the system first trimester. We were designed to handle getting sick—
But by all means take that EUA mystery shot! No problem (Sarcasm!)
Congratulations!
The azithromycin is just another anti inflammatory, I don't know really what else it does against viral infections. There are studies showing that covid can infect gut bacteria so the azithro helps with that I guess.
Don't forget this is some watered down variant now, not OG covid which was a lot stronger.
Western medical journals are not reliable sources for info about ivermectin. As someone else pointed out, iver does not harm pregnant mares or their foals. Widely trusted for safety. Speaking for myself, I'd use it on purpose while pregnant, for a baby that is born parasite free.
Thanks guys, figured to stay on the side of caution during this time! Glad to hear from others who have been pregnant! Congrats! Vax free and fertile feels good!!! This is our first, ultrasound tomorrow as well. Very exciting. I have heard of this raspberry leaf tea, I will have to find some.

Flccc has guidlines for IVM, she can drink warm lemon ginger tea in the morning, get good quality drinking water, dont panic, it mau be her system is detoxing in normal manner... find gentle natural means to assist...
10K IU of D3 daily sounds a little high. This wont cause any issues with the liver?
mate, that's one you should ask a doctor about
Not that they've proven themselves very trustworthy so far
