I diddnt take the blowing up of it to be serious. But to manifest our thoughts and prayers at the same time is to let God know we want something to be done. If OP prays for it to be blown up thats up to God to interpret that and provide whatever outcome he sees fit. Youre assuming God would allow prayer to be weaponized like that, to me thats more fucked up than OP desperately wanting something to be done to keep us all safe
we don't get to make God's plan, we just ask for His mercy.
Not every prayer is asking for mercy. Youre exactly right that we cant make decisions for God but we can express our deep emotions to him to show how much this means to us. If 2,000 people all pray at the same time for the destruction of CERN that doesnt mean it will be destroyed. But if the prayers are backed by moral intentions then something will be done, just perhaps not as big of a boom. Dont have to blow it up for it to be taken out.
Mercy from the CERN operators? Im not praying to them. God does not control people like that, we have free will. He only influences those that allow him into their hearts.
its activation may be a necessary part of this process. if it needs to be taken out, it will be. that's faith
If all events follow one predetermined path then prayer is equivalent to shouting at an actor in a horror movie to "not go into that room!". I agree that we dont know wether or not its part of the plan but OPs pleas for group prayer are based on keeping us safe, asking for it to be blown up (strong human emotional response) shows how much this means to them
Thats what OP just asked us to do. Focusing intent = prayer.
