There was a video the next day on YT showing the building, they were filming on the street when the building security got all jumpy and called the cops, cops came and the man stood his ground, the cops left and the building (which was a law firm from my recollection) shut up shop and closed the doors.
From what I can tell from the Heli landing video, it was the same place due to the open area to the left from the over head filming. I do have the info somewhere.
Yes I would have thought they could easily block signals in the vicinity.
The law firm was Girardi Keese. Tom Girardi is being sued for tens of millions of dollars. His wife is on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. He's been discovered to have the entire legal system in California in his pocket - bribing judges, cops (LAPD Chief is a close friend), and even the Bar itself.
