We're going to do it.
It might not be soon, and the land in which your home is on might not be called America when it happens, but it will be done. Christ is King of Kings. It's inevitable.
The very dirt you stand on to protest the Lordship of Christ is His dirt. The technology platforms you use to insult and mock Christians are His technology platforms.
'There will be no end to the increase of His government or of peace...From then on and forevermore.' Isaiah
“And to Him was given dominion, Glory and a kingdom, That all the peoples, nations and men of every language Might serve Him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion Which will not pass away; And His kingdom is one Which will not be destroyed. Dan 7:14
Christianity won't die.
And He will speak peace to the nations; And His dominion will be from sea to sea, And from the River to the ends of the earth. Zec 9:10
The Father loves the Son and has given all things into His hand. John 3:35
This is just a small sampling of what's to come. Roe is a taste.
So this fourth of July when you're eating hotdogs and watching fireworks and complaining about the overturning of Roe V Wade... Just know it's all in vain. God gave you a taste of his goodness and a preview of what's to come. Submit now. Repent. Come and welcome.
May God bless America, and all the nations of the earth.
"God Wins" isn't just a slogan, it's a promise and the entire theme of the Bible.
Nevertheless, those "unbiblical practices" where justified on the bible and scriptures. So who decides? You don't get to say what is and is not christianity, particularly when it comes to the bloody history of the church. It is historical fact.
We agree on the Constitution and Bill of Rights, that is why I am here. Stick to that.
You're once again trying to push your idea of "The Church" as Christianity while referencing an unbiblical man-mad institution that was killing people following scripture alone. That's called a category error on top of your dishonest misrepresentation. The Protestant men that founded this nation were also in a large part fleeing "The Church" you referenced. Scripture is the standard, not actions that conflict with it.
I've already defined Christianity. You seem hell bent on ignoring that. We're done here.
Where do you thing the Bill of rights and constitution came from? The general equity of God's law drawn from scripture. That's what it looks like. Not the boogieman scenarios your rebellion from God has cooking up in your brain. You aren't an ashiest, you just hate God.
Well you should at least be honest about your views, i.e. we need the Constitution and Bill of Rights (where ever it came from) in order to stop people from using the bible and scriptures (or communism for that matter) to impose tyranny and oppression because that is what they can be used for. You cannot deny that that is what happened the last time a "christian theocracy" (your words) was imposed, and yet that is what you are calling for.
Declare victory and retreat, sometimes the best strategy when your arguments are weak.
He is absolutely right about you needing to read the Bible

We are taught to preach the word of God so that others may believe and be saved. And nothing else. God Himself will settle the score with those who do not accept his free offer of Grace and life.
I am an atheist, raised a catholic, so I have read the bible. I was just pointing out that many people forget the "and nothing else" part and then try to impose their ideas on others once they get political power. We'd be right back were we are now with different assholes in charge. You (or OP) can't just pick and choose who is or is not a "true" christian and then deny the history.
In today's climate the christians are one of the few groups consistently fighting to save the constitutional republic, i.e. America. I support them in that goal but not when the OP calls for establishing a "christian theocracy" which would be a disaster. At this point in history the only thing that matters is reestablishing the Constitution and Bill of Rights as the law of the land. The Constitution, by the way, outlaws establishing a state religion so that is another contradiction in the OPs position.
Discussions with people that misrepresent your position and practice intellectual dishonesty are pointless and fruitless. If I wanted to waste my time I could go to any number of other places.
Do better next time. Take a debate class. You need one.
I thought we were done.
