I saw 4 military jets flying in formation just awhile ago. They passed over my place twice (or else there were 8 military jets--2 formations of four). It was awesome!
I agree, but I usually find active transponders for a hundred or more mil planes at any time. I believe they are up there, but for some reason transponders are off.
There's hardly anything showing up in Europe either.
I live near a helicopter training base and there always 2-3 up in the air at any time of the day or night, but right now there isn't a single one showing up.

I saluted them and yelled "Little Oh Seven!!!"
Everyone knows that the only Mil planes to show up have active transponders. All the others will not show up.
Take a look Mil plane in and around Ukraine. Do you really think we have only two C17s flying in the whole of Europe

Sounds like something yuge is going down if they almost all have their transponders off.
No big deal!
Military planes always have Transponder off. Very rarely will you ever see a fighter jet identing. At least that's my impression.
At least 3 football field size blimps are above usa at all times. https://www.popsci.com/military-aviation-amp-space/article/2009-06/dread-zeppelin-armys-new-surveillance-blimp/?amp
I agree with the two statements below, but these days who in the hell knows. I sent a message to Monkeywerx, he will let us know Friday
I just want to know what will be over Switzerland tomorrow when CERN fires up the collider. I hope a starlink satallite is monitoring.
I wonder if something will knock it permanently offline?
It is the 4th most people have the day off.
