Bear in mind that there were huge payouts to Jewish victims. This is the motherload of misery fiction, movies etc. People forget Schindler's list was a work of FICTION - many visit the "factory" where it was filmed as though it was based on fact. The genius scene in the film was that of the survivors placing stones at Schindler's memorial, made it all so real.
