Not to mention how they destroy the natural beauty of West Virginia and I'm sure other places. It makes me sick to my stomach to see miles and miles of windmills on mountain tops.
They are all over in Texas, they look just awful. Saw one on fire last week as we traveled to South Texas, black billowing smoke for miles. I assume it's not easy to put out a fire on top of one of those.
I heard they froze up too during that bad winter storm about, what 18 months ago? My co-worker told me that. Said the inside of his house was 45 degrees because they were the power source and....no power!
Curaçao comes to mind...they have wind mills on a hill that get the wind just right...and that BEAUTIFUL hill is NOW and eyesore...
