It's a complete and total government scam.

All of it. It's far worse for the environment than simply digging and burning coal in every way imaginable, except for maybe air pollution... which modern coal plants are very good at reducing.

Nuclear. Nuclear is the way to go. It's the safest, cleanest energy available on earth and the government fear mongers it like crazy because they don't want us to have tons of cheap, clean energy.
