I live about 30 or so miles from the stones, we had one of the hottest lightning storms last night that I can remember and I'm 69 years old. Lightning was almost continuous and lots of strong sustained wind. For about an hour the lightning was so constant it looked like daytime outside. Luckily no strikes near me.
