Thanks - this was the best way to see it at slowed-down speed. Obviously the silver vehicle driving away from the grass on the side of the road across the street would provide police with a person-of-interest. It will be interesting to see how this story unfolds.
There isn't footage of anyone planting anything there (that we know about). That tells me there may be a level of planning which would have them avoiding security cameras.
Could just be some kid in a car with his GF - who got completely spooked when he heard the explosion.
I'd thought of that, too - just a couple hanging out across the street from the monument and when someone blew it up they decided they'd better leave. On the other hand, the police are going to want to speak with them to see if they saw anything, etc.
It looked to me like there's some kind of (spot) light off to the left and someone launched a missile/rpg from just behind the light. Agree with you about the planned aspect of it. This wasn't a bunch of sloppy amateurs.
