They really are obsessed with their symbolism. I wonder if they think it gives special power over us?
I've owned a CJ since the early 90's and it's been common to wave to other jeeps with your left hand out the side...two or more fingers is the least of worries.
This is a total stretch and makes us look like fools.

Yeah, when you signal 2 fingers down passing by a motorcycle from a motorcycle, you’re blessing a rider and telling them you hope they keep the “2” rubber wheels on the road and not he metal or the paint. The intent is to protect the rider, not to hail satan. So, as a child of God, I’m going to go ahead and acknowledge that the act of doing this to another cyclist will not summon the beast as an ill intent
Exactly, and the jeep wave pictured here is a person holding the steering wheel and lifting up 2 fingers while passing another jeep sp as to wave without letting go of the wheel.
