All ive seen indicated lightning. If its shaped charge maybe but im skeptical of any explosion because of the intact middle pillar. If it was lightning it would have been directed down the center of that destroyed slab. The flash in the back may just be debris and the lamp pulsing bright. Do explosions make lamps pulse bright?
Why would they waste an oppertunity to cast more chaos into the mix with all the shootings taking place. Why admit it was an act of God when they could cast it as delinquents vandalizing?
Fair nuff, I suppose. I don't know dick all about lightning. All I know is anti-armor weapons, like the kind it would take to rubble a concrete/rebar or granite wall that size. We did it a lot in Iraq and Afghanistan, and it's happening in Ukraine as we speak.
What I'm seeing in that pic is the launch in the distance, impact on the side facing away from the camera, and the beginning of the blow through as the picture snapped. Haven't seen the video.
It'd have to be bigger than an RPG. Something in the Javelin range. Like the ones we sent to Ukraine that are showing up on the black market.

No they do not but, electrical surges and lightning definitely do.

But that was just my guess.
Also, wouldn't lightning light up the whole darn area, not just a small section of the screen?
Hellifiknow.
