Halleluiah!! I've finally broke the 250 mark!
My weights been up and down throughout my entire life but much more so the past few years with my high point being 360 just over three years ago.
I've gone through self induced health/heart issues from drinking and smoking, periods of exercise and various diets, South Beach, Keto, DASH. All with temporary success and some backslide but overall weight loss.
This past New Years my resolution was to get back on, and stick to, a diet. I stuck to that for a bit but as every other time I get "bored" after a while and find myself sliding off the dietary rails. So then I switched back to Keto again after seeing a post here on carnivore diet, and last week I started towards a more or less carnivore diet. I weighed myself this morning and clocked in at 248.8. I'm figuring I lost at least 7 pounds this past week as the last time I'd weighed myself was 255 and I know I'd put on a few before going partially carnivore. And that's without exercise mind you, which I need to get back into again. But I'm off my BP meds and BP is great. I'd been in a little of a funk but seeing that scale this morning lifted me.
Carnivore is the way to go, in my opinion! It absolutely liberated me from those "I'm starving" episodes and it has nearly killed all of my cravings for crap food and sugar. We use only stevia. Congratulations with breaking your plateau and starting to lose. Nothing can stop you now.
