Exactly. 5-D chess. Like it or not, the corrupt UN is the established legal avenue for international disputes. Russia presenting their case there will expose the players in a legal context. It doesn't matter how the UN will respond. The next moves will have already been planned depending on what the UN does, and I think it's a situation where the chess piece is cornered and forced into a choice between bad moves.
