Organic farming is a niched market tailored to a certain buyer willing to pay a higher price for chemical-free food. The policy maker sounds very similar to the IIRO (Idiot-in-Resident-Office) that shut down America's production of oil and natural gas. I saw a photo of the Sri Lankan president pulling his big bag of belongings on a ship dock in the process of fleeing the country. Why can't we get a similar picture of Dementia Joe doing this?
It depends how you do it. I've seen people fail because they try to scale permaculture like it's a weedy garden. The issue I can see is you get a few university students who grow a few plants in a garden and they think that will feed the world.

The goal is to make America suffer the same, in order to point fingers and say, "See? She is no better than we were." The psychological victory for Communism would be immense. A tragic and inbred race from roughly Turko-Armenia, obsessed with victimhood and power, and with "specialness", parading a red flag containing obscenities and stupidity, envy and hate, knowing its back is against the wall and the Nemesis, America, MUST be taken down at all costs or the century, and possibly the millennium, will belong to her and those nations who wish to be like her. At the same time, the ichor of slain children, the blood of dead babies, the plundering of male asses, the ruining of women, and the humiliation of Christ.

If you just go "let's not use petro-chemical fertilizer" and think that's organic, you're going to have a bad time. The key to organic farming is to look after the soil. Real Organic or natural farming/ranching takes years and is extremely labor intensive.
