I was reading a youtube video about using citric acid to allow the nutrients in the fertisiler or soil to work. Sounds a good idea.

Meanwhile in UK a heatwave has brought out flying ants..quite large ones and for a few days they are a real pest but the sun is hot..really energises me to work!

If my garden didn't depend on me being outside during a flying ant event, I think I would just stay cozy behind a keyboard for a few days LoL
