Trump acknowledged the tension Saturday, when he skirted around using the word while simultaneously boasting about his efforts to get out a vaccine within the first year of the pandemic. His remarks illustrate the extent of how the vaccine, which received wide support from both major parties, have become politicized.
"We did so much in terms of therapeutics, and a word that I'm not allowed to mention—but I'm still proud of that word," he said. "We did that in nine months, and it was supposed to take five years to 12 years and nobody else could've done it. But I'm not mentioning it in front of my own people."

He doesn't know it's a killer shot?
I've always thought it was because he wants to prove to MSM, or i guess create "the benefit of the doubt", that his supporters are not cultists or blindly following him. Having his supporters have disagreements with him, especially something this big, proves that they choose independent thought and research over "propaganda". Its never bothered me since I have understood it that way. If I say i disagree with the vax vehemently even though Trump is proud he got it out in record time, it takes the wind out of the sails of a critics argument if they are trying to tell me i am just worshipping him like an idol.
