Iβm talking about whatever sacrifices are necessary which will allow you to not be dependent on the government. Thatβs a pretty big list at this point, and we have entire generations that canβt even envision what that would look likeβ¦ with Medicare being a very good example.
It sounds extreme, because it is. Being a sovereign citizen requires radical sacrifice, which is why our founding fathers often expressed concern and skepticism regarding our ability to sustain the form of government they instituted.
Human governance is the stickiest problem Iβve ever wrestled with. I donβt have all the answers, or even many of them. What I DO know, with zero doubt, is that the more independent I become, the happier I become, and those areas where I have reliance on the government inevitably lead to the greatest insecurity.
