He was never a pilot (couldn't pass the tests). He spent most of his time in Afghanistan playing video games and hanging out with his RP (so was never in any danger) His brother is a pilot and has logged a lot of hours as a pilot. The whole "Hero Harry" image was a product of the palace. Now the world is seeing the unfiltered Harry. Like you, I have no respect for the Windsors but I gotta admire the PR job they did for Hapless Harry!

Huh, I guess I was bamboozled. I thought he was an Apache pilot.

William is a Sea King pilot, iirc. I remember he did search and rescue, etc. Or, again as you say, that was the marketing. :)
