And I use fishermen as a unisex term for both fly fishing men and women.:)
Not related to Q, the great awakening or politics. It's always nice to step away from this madness and enjoy the outdoors.
Went fly fishing last week. Spent a few days in Wyoming/Montana fishing the Madison river. Did a float trip down the Madison and was supposed to have another but that fell through so we had an extra day of wade fishing the Madison in the park (Yellowstone). Overall not very productive.
Then we went to Basalt CO to fish the Frying Pan. The fishing reports said the fishing wasn't that great so we booked a float trip down either the Roaring Fork or the Colorado, which one was going to be determine by the conditions. The Colorado cleared up enough where the guide felt comfortable floating it. We had the river almost to ourselves as I guess everyone else was on the Roaring Fork. And the fishing was awesome. The fish were pretty big, healthy and beautiful.
Go out and enjoy the outdoors and take a break from all the craziness going on.
I bet you rode The Big Dipper?...or had a cinnamon sucker lol. I live 10mins away, the amusement park is gone now. Great ice fishing in the spring off those bays :) Small world.
I probably rode the Big Dipper. I assume that was the name of the roller coaster. Also loved going to the outdoor gocart place that was on the way to one of my aunt's. Not sure if that's still there now. I believe we even took our kids there so it was probably there 20 years ago.
