One byte at a time... damn that is a ridiculous number.
its weird why he converted it to megabytes, IMO it is more impactful seeing how many gigabytes that is. most people understand 1 gigabyte better than they do 1000 megabytes
its 53876.1 gigabytes
Yikes. Yeah, when you put it that way ...
Agreed. Originally i thought maybe terabyte was misspelled, nope 😧..
Edit: wait what? I checked wikipedia.
https://simple.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gibibyte
When did we go from giga and tera to gibi and tebi ? 1billionbytes vs 1,073,741,824bytes. In a+/ccna we did by base 2. 1024mB = 1gB. Guess i'm out of the loop. Disregard.
Mandela effect.
Isn't that terabytes? Why call it tebi?
I like how someone downvoted instead of explaining lol
I looked it up in the meantime. Tebi uses base 2 (2^40) rather than base ten (10^12) but why there's a whole other system like that that I've never heard of or the significance of it, I still don't know. If he'd said 53 terabytes everyone would immediately know what ot meant. Maybe he wanted it to sound like it was more?
It's weird since a tebibyte is 240 and a terabyte is 1012. They are comparing base 2 to base 10.
