That indeed he is, check my recent post history
Wow!! You have an awesome story. When my dad was alive, he was a homeless alcoholic for many years. I prayed for him for 25 yrs to come to know Jesus. After 17 yrs of driving drunk unchecked, he finally over the course of eight years go a series of DUI’s and got his license permanently revoked and landed himself in jail. It was there that a pastor finally reached him. Just two months before a massive stroke that left him paralyzed on one side, left him unable to swallow and took away his clear thinking skills. Tuen he was diagnosed with cancer and though doctors gave him two months max to live. I fought for a year for surgery and God gave him another two and a half years. In the hospital when he was dying, I couldn’t quit crying. He couldn’t say much but managed to say his famous “quit your worrying” line to me as he pointed up and said “heaven”. I couldn’t make myself stay when I knew it was his last night. My older brother from my dad’s first marriage who never had a relationship with my dad volunteered to stay. In the morning he called to tell me dad had passed early that morning. He said “Julie, it was crazy! There were these dark clouds hanging over the hospital and at the very moment dad passed, a bright beam of sun shone right into his room.” I told him “That was Jesus taking him by the hand and saying “come on Roy, it’s time to go home, no more sickness, no more pain.”
Sorry to hear about your loss but thank you for sharing the story ❤
He passed in 2008 but I was so happy when he wrote to tell me of his new found faith in excitement.
Sorry for your loss. Thank you for sharing. This warmed my heart he found God, and that Jesus came and got him.
So happy for you!
