the optimist in me hopes maybe the BBC will either be killed off or reform because of this. (lotta good classic tv made by the BBC back in the day, shame to lose that legacy)

The cynic in me is pretty sure the UK parliament will just say "fukkit," do away with the loicense, and fund the fuckers directly...

The realist is shrugging his shoulders and saying it's not my problem anyway, because I'm not british...
