Our huge Hudson Bay store…actually closed off two main doors to the street that opened to bus stops…3 bus stops…all the buses line up there.
I called head office..and I said …..” what’s up with this? Hows my mother suppose to walk around to the other side..and circle back to get to the street?”
Their answer…they had to close those street doors due to shoplifting. They apparently steal, run, and hop the bus.
What?
They said they will NEVER be reopening those street doors.
Thanks…My Mom will shop somewhere else.
TBH: it’s sad, she has shopped there for almost 40 years, but the walk around is too difficult for her now.
I think that's a large share of why these things are happening......close retail and make it so only the online stores can survive. When Starbucks started inviting the homeless, etc., into their restrooms, I think that was the death knell for them. The homeless and druggies don't pay the bills, the customers so. WTG idiots.
Canada is unsafe too.

I do 2/3 of my shopping online. I hate crowds and stores in general.
