In the words of Fox Mulder... "I want to believe." I think a lot of people want to believe that their new religion, called "modern medicine", has the answers.

Trump kept referencing the "Invisible Enemy". And indeed a "virus" qualifies for that moniker. I tend to think that his "Invisible Enemy" was a bit of a double entendre, and referenced both the SARS-CoV2 Baba Yaga, and the evil people in the shadows who were implementing this shitstorm.

The recent alteration in regulations, definitions, etc. show that the people creating these "cures" were never true healers. They are shysters. Charlatans. Bounders. And worse.
