It's ultimately whether or not people know right from wrong. Both dumb people and smart people can be misled. It's just quicker to correct a dumb person because they know they're not very smart and aren't arrogant about it. Get a bunch of smart people misled and they're screwed because they built a city on top of it and are teaching others.

I knew he couldn't read or write when I took a call to fight at a ranch rodeo on a Friday night. When I got their I found out dundee witnessed a big older rough cowboy and a more refined cowboy had come to blows. So dundee needed me to write his statement. As follows "Bob and ol Pete there were having a mouth fight when old Pete put his Bear paws on Bob. Then Bob was pissed and Jawed ol Pete with his left and ol Pete dropped like shit from a cows ass".
Drop outs from high school saw through it because they didn't finish their indoctrination/brainwashing.
I was a horrible student. School was a big interruption in my playtime. I hated it.
Subsequently, I've not been duped by this shit.
By the time I did get educated I was able to discern the b.s. from professors.
School mostly deceives people into thinking theybare intelligent when theybare average or less. My own professor passed me through with inferior work. I was running a business full time and finishing. Eating had priority over school work.
On paper I look like a genius, truth is most did worse work than me and still got degrees.
The sciences are the hard stuff. If you aren't in the sciences, maths etc. School is a waste of Time.
Logic is based on faith. If your faith is set on lies then you will build all kinds of beautiful logical structures that are worthless. Good luck trying to convince them they are wrong. Because they're prideful in their abilities.
