Going to church for the first time today
🏡 Local WIN 🏘️
Bit nervous, but glad I am honoring this promise I made to God when I needed his help. Dont think I would have ever done this if I never came here, so thank you guys for your consistent outpour of faith.
Prayers to you! Don't be upset if the first church you visit does not feel like the right one. Don't let that thwart you. Ask God for wisdom and guidance to lead you to the right people. That's all churches are - groups of people. Hopefully, in most cases, groups with the majority of people filled with the Holy Spirit. But yet, they are still flawed people. You are looking for a church body led by bold men who are teaching God's Holy Word. They need to understand the Doctrine of the Lesser Magistrates, and that it is important for Christians to stand up and lead right now. If you can find this, you will be well fed.
Nope I think this was the right one. They welcomed me right in, I was moved by the service, and yeah I'll be going back for sure
Awesome to hear. I found a church family last year about this time. Got saved and had a river baptism. Best time of my life. Still with my church family. Love that place. The fellowship, I’ve learned, is very important to me. The Lord is amazing. I sometimes still feel I’m not worth it. I am humbled, big time. Really happy for you friend. Best news I’ve heard today.
Yeah I actually brought up baptism and they do offer that, but for now all I gotta show up and listen with my heart
