I don't think so. Although I know zero about the Mason lodge. I grew up going to the Elks with my grandfather and dad. I was more refencing the couple old guys going in to vote on paying bills and chili cookout. And around here, the bashing is mostly done by shills and doomers. Feel free to bash back.
Exactly. The freemasons have 0 influence in politics and world events. Thats not to say that in the past they didnt because in the past more people were a part of lodges. Freemasonry used to be a bigger deal and was a way that men had fraternity with one another. Same with rotary club, knights of columbus, elk lodge etc etc. They are all now shells of their former selves and some struggle to even pay bills.
The one lodge has been there for 40+ years that I've been around and I have never even seen the lights on but the landscaping, building, and grounds are always immaculate.
