Girl's Electric Car Needs New Battery but It's More Expensive Than Vehicle Itself - Then She Gets Even Worse News...The Siwinskis were told the battery pack was at the end of its life and needed to be replaced, and the bill was going to be $14,000...The dealer said it couldn’t even get a battery.
Why do they get to charge for free? I have to pay for my electricity at home, and the gas in my car. New charging fee is 20$ per hour starting tomorrow. How will that help EV sales?
Hi, I'm an electric scooter driver. It's pretty cool, but has big limits a gas model wouldn't have.
Mine was cheap and didn't need a driver's license (in a foreign country where getting one is not totally straightforward for someone who doesn't speak the language).
I illegally drove a gas powered scooter recently for a weekend and wow was it a lot better.
My electric is slow and has a limited range. If you remember to charge when you go home and keep your range in mind you won't have problems, but there are plenty of places I can't go because I wouldn't be able to get back home.
There's another electric brand here that has battery swap stations all over the place. You don't own your battery, you just swap them for new ones whenever you get low, and stations are abundant.
I think that brand is fine.
I like the way my electric scooter handles a lot more than the gas one. Instant acceleration. Low top speed, which really sucks, but for short trips around town, I like the electric quite a bit.
Anyway, with some better infrastructure like those battery swap stations or chargers in more spaces or something, they could work, but we're not there yet.
Didn't help this girl.

As the electric grid gets shredded...
What percentage of American car owners own an electric car? Well, it's the same as the percentage of Americans Butthead supports. Very few imo
...exactly....

Higher oil royalties for the Hunter crowd.
...but we haven't let that little faggot out of the closet yet.
