Hey guys, thank you so much for the prayers and the input from the other night with my health situation.
The good news is my vitals are all normal and I'm able to move and sleep just fine. I was lucky to talk to an amazing nurse who suggested that I should get to a good GI doctor as soon as I'm able, but noted that my symptoms also resemble stress and anxiety taking it's toll on my body (and, yes, she has seen a lot of that lately).
I'm still going to keep a good eye on my physical health, but I see her point. I have been stressed out lately, and when I'm stressed, I do end up sick and I think that is a major factor here.
Thank you so much again for all of the input and the kind words on my last post. I'm going to be taking a break from here, and from politics and pop culture in general, so I can focus on looking upward and inward and getting my life in better shape. I wish you all the best, and I'll hopefully be back soon!
Take a breather, fren. We'll leave the light on for you. 😉
Solid plan.
Stress plays a huge part of your immune system and will lower it, take a break, go look at nature and enjoy life. Regards.
Place your cares at the feet of the Lord Jesus Christ. He will carry your burdens for you if you give Him a chance.
Good Luck fren. Take care of yourself. Sometimes we all need a break from this. Just turn off the TV and any news and enjoy your life.
I recommend fishing while you take your break. Get better soon fren!
Glad to hear you are doing ok.
One thing I notice for me helps is to take Elderberry Extract, Vit C & D and to try and eat healthier and drink plenty of water. I also make sure to do some meditation - just sitting, breathing and focusing on me for at least an hour a day. Sometimes just shutting down all electronics, taking a walk. We got your six! Take the time for you!
I started watching videos on resetting the vegas nerve. There are also good ones on breathing, certain sound frequencies, etc. My naturopath told me to lay on my back when I go to bed and just hold me knees up for a while (like you are sitting on a chair but you are on your back and the chair isn't there. Something about that is also supposed to reset you somehow. In any case, taking a break from the insanity of this world and meeting up with God is numero uno. Good, good idea. Blessings to you. We'll be here.
Gopher, taking a break is a smart move. Many of us have had to do the same thing over the years. My break lasted close to 4 months in 2018 - I had a crap ton of Q posts to catch up on when I returned, lol.
