Their "reasoning" is because of drug dealers use the mylar bags and they block odors and aromas of what's inside, making it easier to smuggle.
We know it's to control preppers and what they do for themselves.

The Amazon clip read by the presenter says that going forward, only clear or single colored bags will be sold. I don't know why one colored bags aren't as good for drug smuggling as multi-colored, but that's what the article says.
