Gail was only 52. She died in her sleep, if it was a heart attack or stroke I think she would of alerted her husband next to her but she just suddenly died with no underlying health problems.
I feel very bad as they owned the local pub and just sold it so they can have an early retirement. They were both going to enjoy themselves as running the pub was a fulltime job that required there full attention.
Her husband Chris is distraught as now he's a widower and was about to enjoy the fruit of his hardwork with his wife and family.
If you can pray for her family it will be greatly appreciated.
1 - we dont have initials behind our name so they dont pay attention to what we show them even if documented by other doctors.
2 - I worked in health care for about 50 years. Saw lots of mistakes, some deadly. Yet people still have the 'yes doctor, whatever you say doctor' attitude.
3 - Medicine has changed much in that time. Doctors used to think and even research before advice. Now, whatever is listed on the computer for your med records is what they advise.
I do have initials behind my name and people don't pay attention. You are right about medicine changing. I too was there to witness those changes for the worst. The ACA was the nail in the coffin and a clear indication to where things were headed - exactly where we find ourselves now. It is a beast digital system that has taken away a practitioner's ability to operate independently in the best interests of their patient. It is a one size fits all cookie cutter assembly line that treats human beings as commodities. My advise - stay away if you can. Take responsibility for your own health because the system won't.
