I don’t think the Chinese believe that for one second.

From their point of view, they saw Trump “leave office” on AF1 carrying the nuclear football. That imagery wasn’t for us. That was for the world to see. They saw Pelosi on tv demanding that Trump hand over the nuclear codes.

They aren’t idiots. They were shown what they were supposed to see.
