Her grandfather wrote propaganda for a Nazi newspaper in Cracow. He is originally from Ukraine but then moved to Poland during the war. He fled to Vienna with the Nazis when Russia moved in on Poland.

Other reports I've read online said he reported to Goebbels, but I'm not sure if they're just inferring that because Goebbels was of Minister of Propaganda or if he actually worked with him in person.
