I lived with depression off and on for years until I kicked all the shitheads out of my life and got myself in order. Got some good friends, got into nature more often, got into my Bible, looked for ways to be of service to others, moved closer to be with family more. Boom- depression went away
Depression is hugely helped by fresh air, exercise, hobbies and being useful to others. Faith and prayer are better than pills.
