I think the next step is installing new operating systems on their smart phones. Make the phone's one and only ability phone calls.

They will be more comfortable this way, anyways.

Remember, this generation had hard line dial up phones. The biggest advancement at the time was a super long springy extension cord for the receiver so you could walk down the hall and into a room for privacy.

It will be just like a old times. Plus speaking is best anyways.
