do you hunt & butcher it yourself? I realize many people don't feel well without it, but also think there's something nefarious & ritualistic about the way meat is processed. also monuments, geographical features etc, next to places where lots of blood is spilt.
expanding my thinking because I don't know how animals can be an 'industry'...
if people want to eat meat, they should be involved in the process.
I didn’t kill it myself though I was there with my neighbor when our two cows were slaughtered and processed. The processor then took them, butchered and packaged and froze the packages.
Seems the canine teeth in my mouth indicate meat has been on the menu for a looooonnnnnnggg time.
I have 250 LB of cow in our freezer that grew up in the field next to the house.
Carrots in the green house as well. Omnivore for the win.

It's the blood of thousands of animals at a time that bothers me, think there's something more to it, that we haven't been told.
also, if we 'eat' other creatures, what could happen to us?
