So these are the foods I should eat, but not eggs, cheese or ground beef? Utterly ridiculous.

This reminds me of a time when I was a teenager and I was at my friend's house. I had told her family about my niece who had suffered some kind of cardiac thing and was now skin-and-bones thin. Her dad started going off about how all you have to do is follow the food pyramid from the government and you'd be a healthy weight.
Even at 17 I questioned the validity of a government deciding what is nutritionally valid, and for how long the food pyramid had been around with no changes. Over the years I learned more about nutrition, and even Big Mike Obama turned the pyramid on its side, lending credence to my thought that it was invalid.
The government doesn't know what is nutritionally correct for your body the same way this university has an opinion on the foods you "should" eat.
I think I'll have a burger with cheddar and a butter-fried egg tomorrow for lunch.
