My dad strictly limited TV in our house. He said: "TV makes you stupid". I'm thankful for that.
My oldest is 30. They didn't have TV until he prayed for one one day during family prayer. A Curtis mathes console was offered to us a few days later. So... God got them a TV. I didn't tell them about cable because I didn't want them praying for it. So I got an old beta machine with about 100 old movies including every James bond up to that point and we worked three old beta tapes out. God was faithful to a 6 year Olds prayer. All we watched were those old movies. Also had everything John Wayne had done.
