I agree. There is a woman I used to follow on YouTube who is all about healing the world through light and white magic. Her heart is in the right place, but so much of what she says is absolute gobbledygook and she unintentionally misleads a lot of young women who want to do something positive. This type of magic is becoming huge on social media with Gen Z and younger millennials, and so much of it is based on pure fantasy.
And I can't criticize too much. I'm coming off twenty years of occult practices myself and it's extremely hard to get out of it once you're in it.
Maybe it is easy for some, but for me, I was into it for so many years that it's hard to let go of beliefs that I held so strongly for all that time. I've had experiences that I can't forget and just pretend never happened. I've seen some ex-occultist or ex-pagan types who just walk away instantly but that hasn't been the case for me. It's been an internal tug-of-war for me.

Why is it hard to get out of it? I'm genuinely curious as to why ... I'm not suggesting that it should be easy.
