In many countries, non-citizens can't own land. The Philippines is a good example. You can buy a condo or lease land. No advantage to the USA in allowing purchase here.

This is a really really big deal. Only U.S. citizens should own land in the U.S., a law that needs to be a state law since this isn't in the Constitution. Foreigners buying land drives up our housing and food costs in a serious way, part of the fuckery that I just caught onto lately. It's part of how the globohomos turn us into serfs.
I don't think that any non citizen should own US land. I also think that dual citizenship should be outlawed in the US.
