OK. Some good digs. Was a post on this yesterday.
Main issue I have here is that the 74% figure is based ONLY on the hearsay report of someone who said they met him at the rally in Brisbane.
Until there is further clarity on this, it's not exactly helpful to bandy that percentage about, because very quickly, such things can become facs unto themselves, meaning they become widely accepted and quoted, but with no real verifiable basis.

I reached out to Dr. McLinden and received a response from a colleague with the following:

I updated the article with the numbers (50% - 74%) and screen grabs of the above interaction.
Agree fully with your warning of being cautious. Until publish date this is all technically hearsay. For all anyone knows this could be a LARP and I could be gullible and/or involved. I'm not of course, (maybe a tad gullible, ha) but there is no proof yet anyone can hold in their hand. Thanks for your input. Appreciate it.

Last year, one of the mods (who is now retired) was slapping pepes onto people's names when requested.
Recently, the mod team established a thing where pedes with the required amount of karma qualified to have a pepe on their handle. There was a post about this a week or two ago.
I just looked at your profile. You have oodles of post karma, yet not much posts at all under (posts). So I'm assuming you got this karma from other .wins?
There needs to be a place or method where announcements from the mods can be looked up. Don't think there is currently something like that.
