Let me get this straight our consciousness determines if we have cancer or live to be 100 so back in Noah's days all must have been in a better frame of consciousness having not strayed to far from the garden. Seems every day we get further from Eden more so in past couple years
I am certainly no expert on this subject, but the life / death, heaven / hell stories have never jived with me. If we look into the quantum explanation, they are saying that the (observer) decides how everything in the material world responds. Who is the observer? It is a consciousness that our little people brains can’t comprehend. I’m thinking that the religious institutions have had a good old time controlling us with their stories.
We as individuals are the consciousness and observers. Note in the double slit experiment there is different results when an observer is present vs no observer. It is clearly not a "universal, shared" consciousness.
It is instead a system God created for us. Pure naturalism has zero explanation for why quantum mechanics change behavior when "an observer" is present. How are our atoms different from other carbon atoms in the room? They aren't.
What's different is we have a spirtual soul and spirit. Imago Dei. The image of God. That is what makes us conscious and observers.
Is the observer like someone there when it happens Vs no one being around while the experiment happens?
