This is the Party that brought forth Donald Trump and the America First movement. You have no wisdom in seeking to destroy it. Sounds to me that you have some deep-seated emotional need to crush and burn.
The republican party tried to end DJT in 2016 when their establishment operative, Billy Bush, nephew of George Bush Sr., released the "pussy grab" tape as an October surprise. Their stunt failed to get their preferred choice for president, Hillary Clinton- whom they have never seriously attempted to prosecute, elected.
The whole "never Trump" meme movement was not just a few fringe republican nut jobs, it was, and still is the core leadership of the party. Of course they don't like to admit that to the voting public. But, the simple fact is that Trump's America First policy is a danger to their globalist kleptocracy, and they will undermine Trump at every opportunity, when given the chance.
True, but so what? They are outnumbered by MAGA Republicans. I get the idea that you would rather waste your time trying to destroy the Party, than throw out the trash and get on with saving America. This is still the PARTY that elected Trump to office, by a wide majority. You are willing to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah because there are a few corrupt people at the top, but far more decent people at the bottom.
It is better to throw out the trash. (Been there, done that---in union politics.)
The good people in middle management, and below in the republican party are not the ones who allocate where the party funds get spent. Donald Trump doesn't decide that either.
The republican party is lavishly funding RINO traitors, while marginalizing MAGA candidates. This isn't like union politics, at all. This is about winning elections. And winning elections is largely done by the candidates with the best funding.
The republican party funding has to be coming from somewhere, and it sure as hell isn't coming from MAGA aligned citizens. It's coming from corporate interests.
And those corporate interests that are funding the republican party are nothing more than normies with more bucks than political brains. Those fools are throwing money at the republican party hoping they will stop the democrats, but are too ignorant, or politically naive to understand that they are funding a party led by do-nothing windbags who refuse to fight against the radical left.
Destroying the republican party is about destroying the funding for the best allies of the radical left- the republican party.
Well, you don't understand union politics then. It is entirely about winning elections. And the challenge is whether the union bureaucracy will put its thumb on the scales.
The Republican Party is far more than its administrative organs. It is mainly the membership. The question is how to cultivate and mobilize them. This is a grass-roots effort.
You were doing fine up to the point of corporate interests, who have no concern for "stopping" the Democrats. Any more than background money has any concern over who wins a boxing match. They simply determine who will take the dive. Cutting off those interests by throwing out the entrenched bureaucracy is a necessary act.
In the union, we had it bad. Top-level corruption: the hired Executive Director bribing the elected officials to allow him to manage all their duties for them. Slush funds. Keeping the membership in the dark by violating IRS and NLRA regulations. Yet we were able to surmount all these obstacles with volunteer effort, propaganda (campaigning), a slate of candidates and a policy agenda. It took 5 years and thousands of dollars, but we finally were in a showdown moment. He sneered at us and told us we were transient but he was here to stay. So we fired him. (The best way to establish who runs the show.) He had his counter-coup plan to return, but the membership made it clear that if he did, they would enact a campaign to decertify the union. He did not come back.
So, that is my personal experiment in corruption-fighting. It can be done. You just want to give up and let these bastards continue. You don't need to destroy the Party (what can that possibly mean?). You only need to throw them out. Are you afraid to do that?
Fear aside, it is mandatory. You don't retire from the field of political combat to lick wounds and seek greener pastures, leaving the enemy intact with lots of infrastructure. You sound to me like we should destroy the nation in order to get rid of the Deep State. That's absurd. So, it is equally absurd to seek to destroy the Republican Party when we need it as infrastructure for an America First Republicanism. But what about the RINOs we throw out? Who cares? They will wither and die, having nothing to perch on. What about the corporate interests? Well, they will only have the Democrats left to throw money at. Mjuch good it will do them.
