It is called scorched earth strategy, and when needed it works. We are at this point. I keep bringing up history to illustrate how much ground we have lost, inch by inch, mile by mile. Year after year, decade after decade, hoping that our illustrious republican party will finally come through, and defend our constitution.
Instead, we got the top level of republican party establishment, and their media mouthpieces refusing to stand up against flagrant election fraud- 2 years after the fact, and with mountains of evidence to fight with, and that coke-head cocksucker Mitch McConnell as the highest ranking republican politician in DC now calling for extremist anti-constitutional gun prohibition laws.
If you really think that party is worth wasting time trying to save, I don't know what else to tell you, except to brace yourself for the [republican party] treachery you will soon bear witness to after the party is done with Trump's endorsements, and blessings after the mid-term elections. Watch. I hope I am wrong, but don't bet against me.
You are merely reiterating the history that you have twice summarized before, as though I am unaware of it. I am aware of it. I have pointed this out. I have also pointed out that your assumptions are disproven by an example of how such entranched bureaucracy can be overthrown. You seem to think that: Seventy-five million Trump supporters have no power to do anything about the Party. Say that to yourself a few dozen times in private and see how absurd it sounds.
You don't have any plan of action. You have had plenty of opportunity to elaborate, but all you have is some kind of vision of smoking ruins. As though good things come from smoking ruins. This tells me that, for you, it is a matter of emotional gratification. For me, it is a matter of practical housecleaning, no emotion involved---like delousing, or exterminating cockroaches.
All I know is that it is better to throw the interlopers out of the house, than to burn the house down. "Scorched Earth" has NEVER been good for the people who have to live with what's left behind. Your reading of history is pretty callous and indifferent to actual people.
