If she expects Taiwan to be blockaded or invaded, that's going to hit Nividia and AMD's fall launch of a lot of products. The US electronics market would be screwed if we have another Ukraine.
Absolutely. This said, I believe the 4000 series is well underway in terms of manufacturing and Nvidia had already dropped a ton of cash to secure the required stuff.
I guess that may change if all their stock remains in Taiwan though.
Watch to see if she puts into Intel, I guess, as Intel recently built / started building fabs here on American land.
We also have to think if we have some kind of conflict (even a proxy war) with China, we probably shouldn't expect to get our stuff from there anytime soon.
I think those fabs take years to fully build up though. But yeah, glad to see American fabs. I think TSMC (a major major fab company) also is building something in the US, which would be great, eventually.. but not this year most like.

""RECENTLY""???
Intel has had a Factory in Albuquerque since the mid 80s, if I recall correctly....
That’s a good assessment as well. At this point i don’t know about anything anymore.
You've summed up the 2020s for me quite well.
