I know there are a lot of women here so I wanted to ask… is anyone else experiencing major hot flashes? I’m 61 and went through menopause 11 years ago but more recently in the past few months I have been having major from the core hot flashes day and night that last 1-5 minutes and cause me to sweat heavily. My annual blood work reconfirmed I’m through menopause and no other symptoms. I am around quite a few family members who have been jabbed but I’m a pure blood and not on any regular medication. 4 days ago I stopped all my supplements wondering if anything I was taking could be interacting but they are still strong and keeping me from quality sleep so I wanted to ask if anyone else may be experiencing anything similar.
Nope. Similar age here. Was through menopause, but then a cortisone shot (that was supposed to stay local in joint) caused me to cramp and run one or two small cycles of menses. Told doc, who of course told me no way that could happen. After poking around online, I found it'd happened to others. Had anything like that lately? BTW, that was my last. Figured if it was traveling my body like that I was done.
"no way that could happen"
(gets out phone, Googles)
"huh check this out"
I really don't want to hate doctors but $%(#@*&%.
The E will help with the hot flashes
Interesting, I had a rough bout with bronchitis and a badly sprained foot at the same time earlier this year, and was given both a shot and pills to help with all of the pain, congestion and swelling in my foot and my lungs. I never thought to make that connection but now that I’m trying to remember the timeline I think that matches up. Any thoughts on how long it will linger in my system? Or anything that can be done to get past this faster?
I just let it pass, but probably anything for liver support will help your body process.
Sister I understand. So Ive had a total hyst. Everything gone. They had me on estrodial which I couldnt hold my cats, grandbabies or touch my hubs ( because he would develop hooters kek) for like 2 hours. I totally quit taking it. I started about 4 months ago with this protocol because its natural. You can probably find the same at your local health food store. These have helped immensely. Along with about 400 mg of E 2x a day. Give it about 2-3 weeks. I felt better immediately.

Thanks for the tip! I had a partial hyst 21 years ago but still have my ovaries, I tried the hormone pellets in early 2000s and had a similar experience as you. After two months I stopped the hormone therapy and went all natural, but never really found anything that worked well. But after the last 8 to 10 years being symptom-free my doctor is at a total loss on why I’m having these hot flashes as intensely as I am with all my blood work and even saliva testing are coming back normal and better than ever. I’m always open to trying anything that is natural.
I hope something I sent will help you with some relief. The vitamin E I found the info about 2 weeks ago and it seems to help. I can tell when I miss taking them now
I’m 55 and experiencing the same thing! I went from having one as soon as I got up in the morning to many now and very strong. A friend of mine having same issue. We are both pure bloods. I can’t sleep and looking for all natural remedies. Feverview isn’t helping. I’m trying to walk barefoot in the grass to see if I can get some earth healing...
If you find anything let me know. Black cohosh has never worked for me, Siberian Rhubarb with Vit E always helped me better but it’s not doing anything now. I walk barefoot in the grass every morning and I exercise more now than I have in years past. Just can’t figure out why things have gotten so strong with all of my bloodwork and saliva tests show I’m past menopause. One thought I had a week ago was that some of the supplements I take also benefit blood pressure. Blood pressure medication works by dilating the blood vessels which is also what causes hot flashes. That’s why I thought maybe some of my supplements were interacting with each other, causing vessel dilation which was in directly creating hot flashes, but after a week and being out of the country with family and not taking any supplements, nothing has improved. :(
Yes, my boyfriend takes niacin and was telling me that was one of the symptoms, however I cannot take a multivitamin because my body does not like zinc and I do not take niacin supplements. I really think from another comment that it’s probably the steroid shot and pills I took earlier this year. I spent the afternoon researching steroids and hot flashes and I am shocked at how much of a correlation there is that no doctor ever tells you about that. Now I’m trying to search for ways to work all of that through my system faster. I really appreciate everyone’s help,
Ever had a PCR test?
Nope
My Sister in law is getting them all the time. Fully vaxxed and government owned zombie.
I recall I read in a Medical Medium book discussing them. Here is an excerpt: Hot Flashes and Night Sweats
"Bursts of feeling hot and sweaty out of nowhere are caused by a toxic liver—not by the thyroid or menopause. Hot flashes and night sweats have nothing to do with hormones. Here’s what’s really going on: When the liver fills up with toxins such as viral poisons, heavy metals, pesticides, herbicides, and even old storage of prescription drugs, it becomes overburdened and starts to run hot—so the body tries to cool it down. As part of this process, heat is expelled from the liver and pulsed through the body, giving you that uncomfortable overheated sensation. This is a very common experience for both women and men, though because of the stigma, men’s hot flashes aren’t normally labeled as such. They’re often called work sweats or nervous sweats instead."
Excerpt from Thyroid Healing by Anthony William, p48.
Not sure if I totally agree with the liver being the culprit. Hot flashes are caused more from the dilation of blood vessels. It would make more sense if I was on some kind of blood pressure medicine, but I am drug-free, mostly alcohol free (occasional glass of wine or margarita) and have completely done a 180 on my diet over a year ago at the best weight in years. I’m healthier now than I have ever been in the last 40 years and then all of a sudden the hot flashes started up.
no worries, i just copied the info in case you would find it helpful.
Hi, I went through menapause about 20 years ago, but I have horrible night sweats, I soak the t shirt I sleep in and have to wipe down with a towel. For me, my doc thinks I have sleep apnea, which puts the body in stress due to oxygen being lowered.I dont really snore that bad, but my housemates inform me that I do sometimes. I am going for a sleep study. I also suffer from chronic Lyme disease, and that causes auto immune issues which will cause night sweats. I do not have flashes whie I am awake except rarely sometimes caffeine tends to affect if. Sleep apnea can be helped with those nose strips they sell, but look up sleep apnea and see if you can relate to anything that is described as symptoms.
I was diagnosed with sleep apnea after a sleep study 6 years ago when my oxygen saturation dropped into the low 80s every night. I’ve never missed a night without my CPAP machine since and that was a life changer for quality sleep. Just like you I have to wipe down with a towel whether it’s day or night time sweats. I am healthier than I have been in probably 40 years and was doing well until just a couple of months ago. I cannot figure out what has changed. I do drink occasional caffeine, however, I recently returned from Mexico on a family vacation and did not have caffeine the entire time I was there yet the hot flashes were just as intense the entire trip.
Hey, I am also experiencing similar issues, that started a few months ago. I'm 45, full hyst in early 20's. I just figured I was at that age. One thing that has changed for me, is they have put up a 5g light pole at my job and it's only about 5 ft. away from myittle building I work in 9 hrs a day. Within 2 hrs of getting to work now I have a splitting headache, I'm nauseated and, even with the air on I'm sweating. Idk if mine is related to that and just well... getting older, or??? Thoughts?
Well I just got back from vacation in Mexico with the family, and nothing lightened up while I was gone. I’ve had several years without hot flashes, I’m now healthier and eating better than at any point in my entire life. All my joints and body pain is gone for the first time in probably 20 years, but then the hot flashes started up a couple of months ago and I just can’t figure out what is going on.
I did forget to mention I am a pureblood also. I can't either, except, as I mentioned that is the only different environmental aspect in life. We grew a garden, we are eating healthier as well, taking vitamins etc.. I will be praying for you fren. If you happen to come across anything please let me know. God Bless.
