People always accused me of 'but-syndrome' and when I was younger I tried to avoid this word due to critique by my boy friend (probably he felt insecure due to my contrarian impulse). I failed in avoiding the 'but' and won new self confidence and moved on!

By now we all know a strong 'but' can save lives!
Often "but" is the best reasoning in town, for as long as a single "but" lives, all things have not been considered.
