It is still an interesting point in my mind that he announced for 2020 immediately after taking office in 2017.

Contrast with now, when he casually talks up 2024 at his rallies, but whenever he is asked about it directly, he dances around the question and says "people will be very happy". And he also occasionally reminds us that he never conceded 2020.
